The Alba and Dolj county authorities, invited today to consultations with the Executive’s members have signaled a series of problems, and have asked at the same time the Executive’ support to solve them, the Spokesperson for the Executive, Mrs. Ioana Muntean has stated.
A consistent part of discussions with local administration representatives referred to the situation from the Rosia Poieni copper administration, a very important objective for the county. In this respect, the Spokesperson for the Executive stated that Prime Minister required the Economy Ministry and other decision – making factors to analyze until August 7th, the current situation and put forward proposals the Executive should further decide on. “PM has outlined that it wants solutions to be identified for the economic re-launch of this area”, Mrs. Ioana Muntean has stated.
Other topic approached, at the Alba authorities’ request referred to the implementation of the electrification programme. PM has stated that the Economy Ministry and the Administration and Interior Ministry are in charge of the programme for villages and hamlets electrification, about to be finalized in 2009 and 2010, the Spokesperson for the Government has stated.

With respect to the issues raised by Dolj County authorities, infrastructure and investments projectshave been tackled. “Representatives of Dolj authorities showed that for instance, on 322 measure, aiming at financing investments for rural infrastructure projects, this county has prepared 52 projects, worth 144 million EUR which are ready to be submitted”, the Spokesperson for the Government has stated.
