During the last 24 hours, the personnel within the Ministry of Administration and Interior recorded 159 events by completing their assignments in the field of public order and safety.

Police specialists identified 66 crimes out of which 9 of economico-financial nature and 33 of judicial nature. There had also been recorded 13 traffic accidents resulting in 3 deceased and 11 seriously injured persons.

Police effectives identified - during their specific actions and controls ment to fight against criminal phenomenon - 50 doers of certain crimes out of which 34 committed them during the last 24 hours and 7 were generally police hunted. They also applied over 5,400 sanctions for minor offences, the sum of the fees being about 2.7 bilions Rol.

The Romanian Gendarmerie Units accomplished, during the above mentioned interval of time, 2,900 missions for keeping and preserving the public order, using about 7,800 gendarmes.

In the same time, about 10,100 gendarmes guarded 1,144 objectives of high interest and 1,000 gendarmes accomplished guard and intervention missions to the pipes for transporting the gas products on a distance of over 1,180 km.

The Border Police personnel applied 321 sanctions for minor offences of about 95 millions Rol and took over in order to seize goods coming up to an amount over 1,5 billions Rol. A number of 5,852 Romanian citizens were not allowed to exit the country and 76 Romanian citizens were returned based on readmission agreements.

The Millitary Firefighters intervened in the case of 42 events out of which 26 were fires and in 11 emergency situations granted the first-aid.
