During the last 24 hours, the personnel within the Ministry of Administration and Interior recorded 180 events by completing their assignments in the field of public order and safety.

Police specialists identified 70 crimes out of which 15 of economico-financial nature and 55 of judicial nature. There had also been recorded 12 traffic accidents resulting in 3 deceased and 11 seriously injured persons.

Police effectives identified - during their specific actions and controls ment to fight against criminal phenomenon - 65 doers of certain crimes out of which 44 committed them during the last 24 hours and 10 were generally police hunted. They also applied over 4,400 sanctions for minor offences, the sum of the fees being about 2.1 bilions Rol.

The Romanian Gendarmerie Units accomplished, during the above mentioned interval of time, 2,600 missions for keeping and preserving the public order, using about 7,000 gendarmes.

In the same time, about 8,800 gendarmes guarded 1,150 objectives of high interest and 970 gendarmes accomplished guard and intervention missions to the pipes for transporting the gas products on a distance of over 1,180 km.

The Border Police personnel applied 272 sanctions for minor offences of about 120 millions Rol and took over in order to seize goods coming up to an amount over 170 million Rol. A number of 4,256 Romanian citizens were not allowed to exit the country and 299 Romanian citizens were returned based on readmission agreements.

The Millitary Firefighters intervened in the case of 66 events out of which 32 were fires and in 29 emergency situations granted the first-aid.
