During the last 24 hours, the personnel within the Ministry of Administration and Interior recorded 193 events by completing their assignments in the field of public order and safety.

Police specialists identified 88 crimes out of which 7 of economico-financial nature and 30 of judicial nature. There had also been recorded 20 traffic accidents resulting in 6 deceased and 17 seriously injured persons.

Police effectives identified - during their specific actions and controls ment to fight against criminal phenomenon - 52 doers of certain crimes out of which 26 committed them during the last 24 hours and 10 were generally police hunted. They also applied over 6,400 sanctions for minor offences, the sum of the fees being about 2.9 bilions Rol.

The Romanian Gendarmerie Units accomplished, during the above mentioned interval of time, 2,670 missions for keeping and preserving the public order, using about 9,100 gendarmes.

In the same time, about 7,900 gendarmes guarded 1,154 objectives of high interest and 1,100 gendarmes accomplished guard and intervention missions to the pipes for transporting the gas products on a distance of over 1,180 km.

The Border Police personnel applied 358 sanctions for minor offences of about 260 millions Rol and took over in order to seize goods coming up to an amount over 540 billions Rol. A number of 5,731 Romanian citizens were not allowed to exit the country and 144 Romanian citizens were returned based on readmission agreements.

The Millitary Firefighters intervened in the case of 61 events out of which 26 were fires and in 30 emergency situations granted the first-aid.
