During the last 24 hours, the personnel within the Ministry of Administration and Interior recorded 194 events by completing their assignments in the field of public order and safety.

Police specialists identified 78 crimes out of which 14 of economic-financial nature and 45 of judicial nature. There had also been recorded 13 traffic accidents resulting in 5 deceased and 11 seriously injured persons.

Police effectives identified - during their specific actions and controls ment to fight against criminal phenomenon - 44 doers of certain crimes out of which 28 committed them during the last 24 hours and 12 was subject to manhunt. They also applied 3,000 sanctions for minor offences, the sum of the fees being about 1.9 billion Rol.

The Romanian Gendarmerie Units accomplished, during the above mentioned interval of time, over 980 missions for keeping and preserving the public order, using about 7,400 gendarmes.

In the same time, over 9,600 gendarmes guarded 1,088 objectives of high interest and about 970 gendarmes accomplished guard and intervention missions to the pipes for transporting the gas products on a distance of over 1,180 km.

The Border Police personnel applied 182 sanctions for minor offences of about 40 million Rol and took over in order to seize goods coming up to an amount over 380 million Rol. A number of 6,441 Romanian citizens were not allowed to exit the country and 102 were returned based on readmission agreements.

The Millitary Firefighters intervened in the case of 70 events out of which 17 were fires and in 19 emergency situations granted the first-aid.
