During the last 24 hours, the personnel within the Ministry of Administration and Interior recorded 216 events by completing their assignments in the field of public order and safety.

Police specialists identified 107 crimes out of which 16 of economic-financial nature and 53 of judicial nature. There had also been recorded 24 traffic accidents resulting in 5 deceased and 23 seriously injured persons.

Police effectives identified - during their specific actions and controls ment to fight against criminal phenomenon - 66 doers of certain crimes out of which 44 committed them during the last 24 hours and 14 were subject to manhunt. They also applied over 5,200 sanctions for minor offences, the sum of the fees being about 2.5 billion Rol.

The Romanian Gendarmerie Units accomplished, during the above-mentioned interval of time, 2,500 missions for keeping and preserving the public order, using about 7,100 gendarmes.

In the same time, over 8,500 gendarmes guarded 1,088 objectives of high interest and about 850 gendarmes accomplished guard and intervention missions to the pipes for transporting the gas products on a distance of over 1,180 km.

The Border Police personnel applied 293 sanctions for minor offences of about 80 million Rol and took over in order to seize goods coming up to an amount over 750 million Rol. A number of 5,395 Romanian citizens were not allowed to exit the country and 48 Romanian citizens were returned based on readmission agreements.

The Millitary Firefighters intervened in the case of 59 events out of which 26 were fires and in 9 emergency situations granted the first-aid.
