During the last 24 hours, the personnel within the Ministry of Administration and Interior recorded 222 events by completing their assignments in the field of public order and safety.

Police specialists identified 91 crimes out of which 18 of economic-financial nature and 45 of judicial nature. There had also been recorded 17 traffic accidents resulting in 5 deceased and 12 seriously injured persons.

Police effectives identified - during their specific actions and controls ment to fight against criminal phenomenon - 39 doers of certain crimes out of which 23 committed them during the last 24 hours and 10 were subject to manhunt. They also applied over 6,300 sanctions for minor offences, the sum of the fees being about 3 billion Rol.

The Romanian Gendarmerie Units accomplished, during the above-mentioned interval of time, 2,600 missions for keeping and preserving the public order, using about 7,600 gendarmes.

In the same time, over 9,600 gendarmes guarded 1,092 objectives of high interest and about 1,000 gendarmes accomplished guard and intervention missions to the pipes for transporting the gas products on a distance of over 1,180 km.

The Border Police personnel applied 359 sanctions for minor offences of about 68 million Rol and took over in order to seize goods coming up to an amount over 360 million Rol. A number of 6,394 Romanian citizens were not allowed to exit the country and 96 Romanian citizens were returned based on readmission agreements.

The Millitary Firefighters intervened in the case of 69 events out of which 36 were fires and in 30 emergency situations granted the first-aid.
