During the last 24 hours, the personnel within the Ministry of Administration and Interior recorded 199 events by completing their assignments in the field of public order and safety.

Police specialists identified 93 crimes out of which 10 of economic-financial nature and 48 of judicial nature. There had also been recorded 12 traffic accidents resulting in 3 deceased and 9 seriously injured persons.

Police effectives identified - during their specific actions and controls ment to fight against criminal phenomenon - 95 doers of certain crimes out of which 79 committed them during the last 24 hours and 8 were subject to manhunt. They also applied over 4,800 sanctions for minor offences, the sum of the fees being about 3 billion Rol.

The Romanian Gendarmerie Units accomplished, during the above-mentioned interval of time, 2.653 missions for keeping and preserving the public order, using about 7,000 gendarmes.

In the same time, over 8,600 gendarmes guarded 1,088 objectives of high interest and about 890 gendarmes accomplished guard and intervention missions to the pipes for transporting the gas products on a distance of over 1,180 km.

The Border Police personnel applied 335 sanctions for minor offences of about 86 million Rol and took over in order to seize goods coming up to an amount over 8 billion Rol. A number of 4,833 Romanian citizens were not allowed to exit the country and 127 Romanian citizens were returned based on readmission agreements.

The Millitary Firefighters intervened in the case of 48 events out of which 20 were fires and in 24 emergency situations granted the first-aid.
