During the last 24 hours, the personnel within the Ministry of Administration and Interior recorded 165 events by completing their assignments in the field of public order and safety.

Police specialists identified 85 crimes out of which 36 of economic-financial nature and 34 of judicial nature. There had also been recorded 9 traffic accidents resulting in 1 deceased and 10 seriously injured persons.

Police effectives identified - during their specific actions and controls ment to fight against criminal phenomenon - 76 doers of certain crimes out of which 54 committed them during the last 24 hours and 4 were subject to manhunt. They also applied over 5,000 sanctions for minor offences, the sum of the fees being about 2.6 billion Rol.

The Romanian Gendarmerie Units accomplished, during the above-mentioned interval of time, 2,900 missions for keeping and preserving the public order, using about 8,300 gendarmes.

In the same time, over 8,700 gendarmes guarded 1,089 objectives of high interest and about 950 gendarmes accomplished guard and intervention missions to the pipes for transporting the gas products on a distance of over 1,180 km.

The Border Police personnel applied 307 sanctions for minor offences of about 129 million Rol and took over in order to seize goods coming up to an amount over 1.1 billion Rol. A number of 5,479 Romanian citizens were not allowed to exit the country and 126 Romanian citizens were returned based on readmission agreements.

The Millitary Firefighters intervened in the case of 34 events out of which 18 were fires and in 11 emergency situations granted the first-aid.
