Prime Minister Victor Ponta expresses his deep regret at the passing away of former Prime Minister Radu Vasile and offered sincere condolences to the bereaved family.
"The passing away of former Prime Minister Radu Vasile after a heavy suffering is a tough loss for Romania. Radu Vasile marked the history of post-December (revolution) Romania, being Prime Minister in a difficult period of transition. On behalf of the Government and on my own, I express my sincere condolences, sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family. May God rest his soul in peace! "
