In August, nearly 1.072 million lei, 255 million EUR respectively will be reimbursed, meaning 2.810 VAT deductions to firms, Minister of Public Finance, Mr. Gheorghe Pogea has stated at the end of the Executive meeting.
The payments will be made at the following dates: on August 6th, 542 deductions worth 250 million lei will be paid, 702 deductions worth 322 million lei will be paid in August 24th, and 1566 deductions worth 500 million on August 29th.
“The firms with VAT deductions applications approved, will receive the payments in August at the three mentioned dates”, the Finance Minister has stated. He announced that as of August 4th, on the Finance Ministry or the ANAF’s portal, any firm can check the date of deduction. The firms with VAT deduction applications approved and which are not under the Public Finance Ministry’s expertise, can see the date when they get the money, by introducing three elements: the unique registration code, month and year for which they request the deduction and the value of the deduction, Minister Pogea has stated.
“It is important for the business environment in Romania to notice this predictability and this commitment observed by the Public Finance Ministry. It is the right of these people to get their money on time, to know the date when they receive the money in order to better manage the companies’ cash and financial flows”, the Finance Minister has stated.
