25th of April 2005 - a historic day for Romania
Today, the Prime Minister Calin Popescu-Tariceanu has met the President of Ukraine, Mr. Viktor Iuscenko, who pays an official visit to Romania.
During today's meeting with the IMF representatives, the Premier Calin Popescu-Tariceanu has shown that Romania wants to maintain the existing supplementary Memorandum with IMF, and to have a good partnership relation with the Fund, further to EU accession.
Calin Popescu-Tariceanu: ”As political leader, I am fully committed to achieve the project upon the modernization of Romania so that it becomes a genuine European state.“
