"Today is a historic moment, a moment that marks the EU enlargement by Croatia’s accession. The date of July 1, 2013 will be remembered by Europeans as an important signal of the force of our construction and the EU space orientation towards future.
Romanian Government welcomes Croatia's integration into the European family, and as Prime Minister, I want to express thus my belief that a European Union of 28 states will be stronger and better able to face the challenges the future holds for us.
However, we cannot overlook the fact that the 28th member will bring added value to the European Union through its rich culture, its extraordinary people and its political power to fight for innovation, sustainable economic growth and cohesion.
Welcome to Croatia, with us! "
