Today, the Executive has endorsed the passage to the second stage in the drop of para-fiscal taxes and tariffs, after the first stage finalized on June 17th, the Minister of Public Finances, Mr. Gheorghe Pogea has stated at the end of the Executive meeting.
“In the first stage, 119 taxes and tariffs were reduced, dropped or amalgamated, their number reaching thus nearly 300”, the Finance Minister has stated.
As Minister Pogea stated, an inter-ministerial working group in charge of identifying solutions for the further drop of taxes and tariffs will be set up by August 7th. The elaboration of legislative acts in this respect will start by September 15th, their initiation and passing will take place until September 30th. “By the end of the year, there will be a substantial drop in the taxes and tariffs”, Finance Minister, Gheorghe Pogea has stated.
