“The legal framework for the purchase of rented flat after five years was not assured. Today, we have taken the decision that the legal regulations will be completed so that the ANL flats rented to youngsters under 35 years can be sold after five years”, PM Tariceanu has stated.
On today's Government meeting, Ministry of Public Works and Housing Development has put forward a note referring to the fact, that, whereby the local council's decision, these flats should pass to the public domain of the state, and further to the initiative of the Secretariat General of the Government, they should pass under private state ownership, and under the administration of local councils, and they can be sold to the youngsters asking for it.
Money obtained from sale will be transferred into a special account and will be used only for building new flats for youngsters, PM Tariceanu has stated.
Currently, there are around 2.300 flats which already meet this sale criterion.
