THE LAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS OUTCOMES RECORDED BY THE WORKERS WITHIN THE MINISTRY OF ADMINISTRATION AND INTERIOR IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC ORDER AND SAFETY

In completing their assignments in the field of public order and safety the personnel within the Ministry of Administration and Interior recorded during the last 24 hours 229 events, as follows:

1. THE ROMANIAN POLICE: recorded 89 offences, out of which 9 of economic-financial nature and 32 of judicial nature. During the specific actions and controls meant to fight against the criminal phenomenon, 124 doers of certain crimes were identified. At the same time, the personnel of the Road Police identified 30 road traffic minor offences; they also recorded 10 road traffic accidents that resulted in 5 deceased and 11 seriously injured persons.

2. THE ROMANIAN GENDARMERIE: accomplished, during the above-mentioned interval of time, 732 missions for keeping and preserving the public order and applied 163 sanctions for minor offences, the fines amounting to over 300 million ROL. Also, over 7,400 gendarmes guarded 1,048 objectives of high.

3. THE BORDER POLICE: there were applied 346 sanctions for minor offences and there were taken over, in order to be seized, goods amounting to over 1.9 billion ROL. A number of 2,516 Romanian citizens were not allowed to leave the country and 71 Romanian citizens were sent back from different countries, based on readmission agreements.

4. THE GENERAL INSPECTORATE FOR EMENRGENCY SITUATIONS: intervened in the case of 102 events, out of which 54 fires, and granted first aid in 24 emergency situations.
