The Romanian Waters National Administration can conclude contracts for leasing real estate, namely lands situated in minor river beds as well as the constructions, under public state ownership, its administration for a 10 years period, at maximum with the possibility to prolong it, within law conditions, according to a Decision, which amends the Government Decision 632/ 2007, adopted on Wednesday Executive meeting
Whereby the normative act adopted today, the Government extended from 5 to 10 years the period of leasing the goods under its administration. The Executive has made this legislative amendment from the need to achieve an implementation framework adequate to accessing European funds, the potential beneficiaries should prove they hold the land for at least ten years.
According to the Government Decision 632/ 2007, the instructions for the organization of public auctions and the assignment of leasing contracts, the leasing framework contract, as well as the lists including the goods proposed for leasing and the lease duration are approved by Decision of the head of central public authority in the waters field.
