Today, the Government has approved a Decision establishing that the license fee for granting the right to use radio frequencies in 3600 - 3657 MHz and 3700- 3757 MHz frequency bands is equal to the lei equivalent of 7.500.000 EUR
According to the normative act, the license tax is paid once, entirely, within 30 days since the designation of the winners of the competitive selection procedure organized by the National Regulatory Authority in Communications and Information Technology.
Further to the selection procedure, two licenses of radio frequencies usage will be granted, in the 3600 - 3657 MHz, namely 3700 - 3757 MHz frequency bands with a view to providing public networks of electronic communications and electronic communication services destined to public and introduction of BWA systems (Broadband Wireless Access - access on large band radio support).
